DB Consultants Group is a financial consulting firm based on Avenida Balboa, in Panama City’s financial district. We serve mid-sized companies and family-owned groups that need their numbers to stand up to scrutiny — from banks, buyers, investors and boards.
The firm is led by its two partners, Darío E. Berbey de la Rosa, M.B.A. (Managing Partner) and Helmut Quiroz Villalaz (Consulting Partner), who bring decades of combined experience in banking and corporate finance in Panama and lead every engagement personally.
How we work
Every valuation, feasibility study and restructuring proposal states its assumptions explicitly and cites its sources. A valuation is an opinion, not a fact — so it must be a defensible one.
Discount rates, country-risk premiums and market multiples are reviewed quarterly against primary sources — the U.S. Treasury, rating agencies and academic series — and published in our Economic Observatory.
Sale mandates, valuations and restructurings are handled under confidentiality agreements. We name no client and disclose no figure without written consent.
